Behind these higher speeds area robust structure made from 960MPa ultra-high-strength steel,and a redesigned 3D oil-cooling circuit that improves heat dissipation efficiency by 50%.

Xiaomi's first HyperEngine, Xiaomi HyperEngine V6 Series, incorporates AI simulation technology and is the result of more than 200,000 rounds of topology optimization. Xiaomi HyperEngine V6 and Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s deliver a rotational speed of up to 21,000rpm, while Xiaomi HyperEngine V6s Plus increases this to 22,000rpm through upgraded segmented magnets and voltage overmodulation technology, together with upgraded power modules and an optimized topology algorithm. Its higher rotational speed, stronger performance, and lower power consumption make it a class-leading motor.

With newly developed ultra-high-strength steel, a completely redesigned rotor structure, and an upgraded cooling system, Xiaomi HyperEngine V8s achieves a major breakthrough in motor speed while delivering up to 425kW of power.

960MPa Ultra-High-Strength Steel Innovative Material Composition
To achieve higher rotational speeds, Xiaomi developed a new material through AI-assisted optimization and more than two years of validation across over 100 batches. With a yield strength of up to 960MPa, the material far exceeds the strength of conventional automotive electrical steel and approaches the strength of materials used in aircraft engine blades.
Redesigned Stator and Rotor Innovative Structural Upgrades
The motor features an industry-leading hairpin winding configuration paired with a 54-slot, 6-pole design. This increases the slot fill factor to 77%, cuts iron loss by 25%, and improves overall motor efficiency by 0.3%.
Xiaomi's Independently Developed Cooling System Over 50% Improvement in Overall Heat Dissipation Efficiency
The stator's custom dual-circulation 3D oil circuit and the rotor's pioneering S-shaped 3D cooling design provide a larger heat dissipation area within the same package size, reducing peak temperatures by 30°C and improving overall heat dissipation efficiency by more than 50%.

Dual Authorization by Authoritative Institutions
As of August 13, 2026, Xiaomi Auto has filed over 500 patent applications globally in electric drive technology, with over 200 patents granted. Xiaomi has also received world-leading technology certification from the China Electrotechnical Society and the National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center.
