Xiaomi Auto Factory has 6 workshops dedicated to new energy vehicle production, enabling the in-house production of key components such as the Die-Cast Rear Floor and CTB batteries. More than 700 robots support advanced automated production and high-quality vehicle delivery.

Xiaomi's independently developed Hyper Die-Casting Equipment Cluster System controls 430 process parameters across 9 major processes and more than 60 pieces of equipment, enabling 100% automated operation.

The 6,900-ton 5-stage stamping production line can stamp a part in just 4 seconds. A 6-point die cushion and ultra-high-precision dies ensure even pressure distribution and a closer die fit, creating Xiaomi SU7's iconic 175° ripple-curved surface.

Body Assembly Workshop

The custom-developed, fully automated outer-panel assembly system fits exterior panels to the body frame with an accuracy of ±0.5mm. The transportation, feeding, connection, fitting, and commissioning of medium-and large-sized parts are fully automated by AMR logistics robots, vision-guided feeding robots, and other forms of machinery. The Body Assembly Workshop has an overall automation rate of 91%, enabling advanced automated production.

A total of 9 color schemes were launched simultaneously. To provide more colors and options in the future, the Painting Workshop is equipped with a rapid color-change system that can switch colors in just 40 minutes. During the standard "3C2B" process, cutting-edge 7-axis spray-painting robots equipped with high-speed rotary bells are used to create a finer, smoother finish. The electrophoretic coating is more than 10μm thick throughout the body cavity, providing superior corrosion resistance.

Laser welding, gluing, and tightening are all subject to 100% high-precision in-line inspection. Vision algorithms enable dynamic positioning and inspection during welding and immediately after gluing, ensuring zero-defect battery pack delivery.

The final body-chassis assembly process is fully automated, while the front and rear windshields and panoramic sunroof are installed with robotic arms, with an overall accuracy of ±0.5mm. The same Atlas Copco digital tightening wrenches used in motorsports precisely control tightening torque, ensuring high precision at every connection point and full traceability throughout the vehicle's lifecycle. Comprehensive, high-precision end-of-line calibration and testing standards ensure the quality of every Xiaomi vehicle delivered.

Xiaomi Auto Factory has extensively deployed advanced, high-precision automated testing equipment to perform real-time in-line inspections across six major categories of manufacturing processes. These include fully automated ultraviolet inspection covering 100% of each vehicle's exterior and in-line LiDAR inspection of the Die-Cast Rear Floor. Powered by an AI foundation model, Xiaomi's independently developed inspection system achieves an accuracy rate of over 99.9% and is dozens of times more efficient than manual inspection.

Xiaomi Corporation has long been committed to sustainable development, a principle that Xiaomi Auto Factory has embraced from the outset. Factory rooftops are equipped with photovoltaic panels, which generate 16.4 million kWh of green electricity annually. Xiaomi Titan Alloy used in Die-Casting can contain up to 30% recycled aluminum. The factory also strictly controls wastewater and exhaust emissions, with the Painting Workshop achieving an exhaust gas treatment rate of up to 99%.
